Brief Job Description
Mason Concrete is liable for placing, levelling and finishing both Reinforced Cement Concrete and Plain Cement Concrete in various structural elements, in situ and precast units. As well as repairing of concrete and caring out IPS/ Tremix flooring.
Role Description
Mason Concrete is specialized for performing routine concreting work in various structural elements, set forms and place finish concrete forms.

Training Outcomes
After completing this programme, participants will be able to

  • Understand pre-installation related activities involving understanding of the task, material preparation, taking measurements and marking the positions.
  • Install pipes and sanitary fixtures, basic quality check of the installed fittings and fixtures, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
  • Understanding the installed system, basic inspection and identification of the fault in the system.
  • Repair like replacement etc. with minimal damage to other systems.

Construction Laboratory & Field Technician is responsible for carrying out sampling, preparing test specimen and performing test of construction material including cement, sand, aggregate, bitumen, concrete, brick and concrete blocks as per IS standard test procedure.

Practical Duration:: 276 Hrs.
Total Duration:: 400 Hrs.
Training Outcomes::
After completing this programme, participants will be able to

  • Check and measure prior to operation of instruments prior to testing. Able to select and use test instrument, apparatus & equipment’s for cement, concrete, brick, aggregate, soil and bitumen.
  • Perform testing of cement, concrete, brick, block & aggregate sample.
  • Perform testing of soil and bitumen sample in laboratory & carry out field testing of soil and bitumen.
  • Interact, communicate & support effectively with co-workers, superiors and sub-ordinates within the team and across interfacing teams to ensure effective execution of assigned task.
  • Prioritize work activities & organize desired resources prior to commencement of work to achieve desired results.
  • Importance of Health & Safety aspects & safety measures to be followed while working.

* Theory and practical hours will be conducted accordingly, Industrial visit will also be planned related to course and certificate regarding the course will be given after the completion of course.
